US chain Denny’s eyes UK for franchise expansion

The brand is looking for potential partners to bring it to city centres and airports.

US casual dining chain Denny’s is planning a major expansion in the UK, with specialist advisory firm FRP Corporate Finance reportedly appointed by the current UK franchise owner to assess new potential partners.

The dining chain is looking to expand to city centres, airports, service stations and drive-through locations nationwide.

The brand currently operates one restaurant at Parc Tawe Retail Park in Swansea.

Founded in 1953 in Lakewood, California, as a doughnut shop, the chain now serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an American diner casual restaurant setting.
