RFG’s statutory NPAT drops to $14.9m in FY2025

However, revenue rose 13.6% to $102.7m, driven by Beefy’s Pies.

Retail Food Group (RFG) reported a $14.9m drop in statutory net profit after tax (NPAT) for FY2025.

This was weighed down by a $12.2m non-cash impairment of Brumby’s Bakery and $15.7m in restructuring costs tied to its corporate store division.

Revenue rose 13.6% to $102.7m, with the full-year contribution of Beefy’s Pies.

Same-store sales across the network slipped 0.2% to $455.7m, with weakness in quick-service restaurants (QSR) from Q1 to Q3 before a 2.2% lift in the final quarter.

Underlying EBITDA inched up 1.7% to $29.6m.

The group is preparing to roll out the US chain Firehouse Subs in Australia under a 20-year agreement with Restaurant Brands International (RBI), aiming for 165 stores in the first decade.

The first outlet is scheduled to open in mid-FY26.

RFG operates around 1,250 outlets across 30 countries under brands including Gloria Jeans, Donut King, Beefy’s Pies, Crust Gourmet Pizza, and Firehouse Subs.

It opened 37 new stores in Australia in FY2025.
