Taco Bell unveils new Refrescas line of refreshments
The company aims to boost drink sales to $5b by 2030.
Taco Bell has introduced a new line of six drinks called Refrescas, including permanent additions to its menu.
The new Refrescas lineup includes three Agua Refrescas, two energy drinks, and one frozen drink. The three Agua Refrescas will join menus permanently after initially being tested in Southern California in 2024.
This move is part of a broader push to grow its drink business, with the company aiming for $5b in beverage sales by 2030.
Building on the success of its Live Más Café test location in Chula Vista, California, Taco Bell is scaling the specialty beverage-focused concept to 30 more restaurants across Southern California and Texas by this fall.
Several of those locations will launch in partnership with Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG), the franchise organisation operating the first Live Más Café that opened last year.
Both DRG and company-owned locations will open this summer, with the first at 468 S Main St., Orange, California, and more openings to closely follow in Irvine, San Diego, and Los Angeles County.
