Albaik CEO reconfirms Pakistan launch

The expansion is said to be in its final stages.

Albaik CEO Rami Abu Ghazala reconfirmed its commitment to its expansion in Pakistan, stating that it is in its final stages following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the brand and GAS & Oil Pakistan Limited last year.

Albaik is a Saudi Arabian fast-food chain known for its signature fried chicken, seafood, and garlic sauce, with a strong following across the Middle East. It has over 120 restaurants.

Ghazala confirmed its commitment during the visit of Jam Kamal Khan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Commerce where he was given a tour of Albaik’s operations during his visit to Jeddah to encourage trade and investment partnerships between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

According to a government press release, the first Albaik branches in Pakistan are expected to open soon, creating new job opportunities and strengthening economic ties between the two nations.

The Minister said he appreciated the contributions of Pakistani workers within Saudi businesses like Albaik and welcomed the brand’s entry into Pakistan, highlighting its potential to enhance the country’s fast-food industry and consumer market.
