Indian coffee startup Fast Coffee raises $1m to launch flagship in Bangalore

The brand is backed by unnamed angel investors and Bloom International Ventures.

Coffee startup Fast Coffee raised $1m in a seed funding round, which includes $400k it raised in a pre-seed round, by unnamed angel investors and VC firm Bloom International Ventures.

The announcement was in time for the launch of its flagship and second location in Bangalore.

The new flagship store of Fast Coffee, in Koramangala will offer high-quality coffee in a quick service style setup. It will serve classic drinks like Cappuccino, Mocha, and Cold Brew Float, alongside unique options like Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Easy Drip Pour Over. On the food side, customers can order Kaya Toast, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Potato and Caramelised Onion Danish, Chicken Sausage Rolls, and Cinnamon Swirls. The brand has an average price of $7 (INR600) for two.

Fast Coffee was founded by Soomanna Mandepanda and Puja Soomanna, founders of sustainable cafe and retail concept HumbleBean.
