McDonald’s Singapore hosts community Buka Puasa for Ramadan
The event also featured McDonald’s “Light a Lamp, Share a Table” initiative.
McDonald’s Singapore hosted a Buka Puasa event during Ramadan, bringing together nearly 200 guests, including ComLink+ families and residents from Marsiling.
Organised with support from Families for Life (FFL), the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), the People’s Association (PA), and the Health Promotion Board (HPB), the gathering gave families and neighbours from different backgrounds a chance to connect, strengthen relationships, and create memories across generations.
Families at the event were served a Buka Puasa meal that included McDonald’s popular items such as McCrispy Burgers, Filet-o-Fish Burgers, and Sharing Boxes featuring the newly introduced Spicy Chicken Tenders and Chicken McNuggets.
The event also highlighted McDonald’s “Light a Lamp, Share a Table” initiative, launched nationwide on 19 February.
Special table lamps in McDonald’s outlets indicate that diners are willing to share their seats with others, breaking fast during Ramadan.
