GYG taps Erik du Plessis as new CFO

du Plessis will take on the role in April 2024.

Australian quick-service restaurant brand Guzman y Gomez, (GYG) has appointed Erik du Plessis as its new Chief Financial Officer after searching for the past few months.

du Plessis is joining GYG from Wesfarmers where he joined in 2016. He is currently in the role of the General Manager Commercial & Strategy for Kmart and Target  His many responsibilities include but are not limited to; trade decisions, investment decisions and capital deployment in the context of transformation, data science, and procurement as well as the strategy function.

du Plessis will officially take on his new role in April 2024.
