Mad Mex relaunches 1kg Big Burrito

A limited number of luchador masks are also up for grabs.

In time for Cinco de Mayo, Mad Mex is relaunching its 1kg Big Burrito, citing an “overwhelming number of pleas and demands flooding” their social media pages.

“Every year our fans are very vocal and ask us to bring The Big Burrito back,” Mad Mex CEO Clovis Young said. “It’s become our most popular annual tradition, and the Luchador wrestling masks are a highlight this year. Our last mask was in 2017, so our Mad Mexican fans are going to be stoked! And with our Menulog partnership, we’re going to bring it to more people than ever.”

Customers who order the item via Menulog will also get a limited edition Luchador wrestling mask — whilst stocks last — along with a $10 discount.

Those who post a picture of themselves taking on the chain’s Big Burrito challenge on Instagram or Facebook and tag both companies can potentially win free burritos for a year.
