Subway to trial pulled pork in 51 Gold Coast restaurants

Customers at participating outlets can try the new protein starting November 17.

Subway announced it is trialing pulled pork across 51 participating restaurants in the Gold Coast.

The new protein is made from tender pork shoulder and cooked in a smoky BBQ sauce marinade. The trial will start on November 17.

“Gold Coasters are secret foodies! They have a great multicultural mix of different cuisines, and it seems like a new restaurant or eatery is popping up every week, so we know it’s a competitive market. They take their food seriously,” Subway Australia and New Zealand head of marketing Rodica Titeica said in a media release.
