Norwegian chain Fly Chicken to enter India market

It is set to open its first restaurant in Hyderabad.

Norwegian restaurant chain Fly Chicken is set to open its first store in Hyderabad, India.

“India’s dynamic and rapidly growing foodservice market presents an exciting opportunity for us,” said Ronny Gjoese, CEO of Fly Chicken.

“Hyderabad is just the start as we aim to establish Fly Chicken as a household name across major cities in India,” Gjoese added.

Fly Chicken aims to open ten outlets within its first year, with an ambitious long-term vision of launching 250 locations nationwide over the next five to seven years.
