Mom’s Touch signs MoU to open 60 restaurants in Uzbekistan
The brand also has plans for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Middle Eastern markets.
South Korean fast food chain Mom’s Touch has signed a memorandum of understanding with food and beverage operator One Food to open its restaurant and expand its footprint in Uzbekistan.
The signing of the master franchise agreement took place at the brand’s headquarters in Seoul, led by CEO Kim Dong-jeon and One Food CEO Khodjaev Zafar Zalulovich.
The first Mom’s Touch restaurant will be a 496 sq metre flagship which will open in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, before the end of this year. From there, the brand plans to expand aggressively to 60 locations nationwide, doubling the current presence of global competitors in the market.
Mom’s Touch is best known for serving chicken‑thigh burgers and flavorful fried chicken—made with a “mother’s touch” intention—alongside classic sides like fries, salads, and wraps. The brand has 1,460 restaurants globally with presence in Thailand, Mongolia, Japan, and Laos.
