Grecian coffee chain Mikel Coffee to launch in India
The brand is planning to launch a cafe-restaurant at its first location.
Grecian coffee chain Mikel Coffee will open in India after awarding the exclusive master franchise rights to Greko India.
Founded in 2008 in Larissa Greece, Mikel Coffee is led by its founder and CEO Eleftherios Kyriakakis. It is known for its artisanal brewing techniques. According to a press release, the brand has 375 coffee shops in 19 countries.
Meanwhile, Greko India is a firm that specialises in luxury investments, brand partnerships, and facilitation services. It also helps Indian investors gain residency in Greece through the Greece Golden Visa program by investing in real estate. The company also works to strengthen economic and cultural ties between India and Greece.
Mikel Coffee will launch its first outlet in Delhi NCR using a cafe-restaurant concept. The brand will also target other key markets like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru in coming years.
