Domino’s opens first ‘Pod’ outlet in Wellington
At 720 square feet, Pod stores offer a smaller, more convenient Domino’s experience.
Domino’s has opened its first Pod store in Wellington, Somerset, introducing a smaller, more flexible store format designed for roadside and travel hub locations.
The Pod stores, at around 720 square feet, are more compact than standard Domino’s outlets and are designed to make collection and delivery more convenient for customers.
“The Pod format shows how we can grow sustainably, reach new audiences, and continue building momentum toward 2,000 stores across the UK and Ireland,” said Andrew Rennie, CEO of Domino’s Pizza Group.
The Wellington location is the first in the region to offer the CHICK ’N’ DIP menu.
Domino’s plans to expand the Pod format across the Southwest on sites owned by Motor Fuel Group, the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, with the goal of rolling it out nationwide.
