Tortilla concludes the search for UK’s burrito master 2024
Six finalists battled it out for the title of Burrito Master 2024.
Tortilla’s search for the UK’s ultimate burrito master has faced its conclusion at Tortilla’s Leadenhall restaurant, with six finalists battling it out for the title of Burrito Master 2024.
Each finalist represented Tortilla offers from across the UK, from Manchester, Lincoln, Stratford, Cardiff, Richmond, and Dalston.
In the first round, the contestants showcased their ability to build and wrap a burrito, whilst in the second round, the finalists created their ultimate taco.
The third challenge required them to design a burrito bowl, built to Tortilla’s standards, and finally, the contestants created their own signature dish.
The crowned Tortilla’s Burrito Master of 2024 will be rewarded with £1,000 in travel vouchers, exclusive Burrito Master merchandise, and Just Eat takeaway vouchers.
Judging the event were Tortilla’s CEO Andy Naylor, Food Director James Garland, and Head of Brand Standards & Compliance Kristal May.
Additionally, Tortilla has also recently launched its first-ever app, introducing a new loyalty programme called 'The Burrito Society.'
