Starbucks UK opens 40 new apprenticeships
The move comes as young people face a tighter jobs market and rethink university.
Starbucks UK will add 40 new apprenticeship places over the coming months to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week.
The new intake will add to the nearly 250 apprentices already in place.
The schemes cover a range of roles and qualification levels, from entry-level barista training to advanced courses for senior staff.
They also include a fast-track leadership route that can lead to a store manager position in as little as 13 months, with further places planned to open in 2026.
The expansion comes as many young people face a tighter jobs market and increasingly question whether a traditional university path is the right option for them.
