Pizza Hut unveils new Supercar designed by 10-year-old school girl
It will be the official artwork on Pizza Hut Racing’s Comaro Supercar worth $1m.
Following a nationwide search, ten-year-old primary school student, Grace Lewis has won the opportunity of a lifetime with her hand-drawn design chosen to become the official artwork on Pizza Hut Racing’s Comaro Supercar, worth $1m.
The design features a number of colourful red logo designs and shapes, with the window frames
of the car is also hand-coloured with bright red texter.
Pizza Hut’s Supercar will make its grand debut at the final round of the 2024 Supercars Championship.
According to a press release, the 10-year-old Lewis spent 15 hours on the drawing. Lewis also said she dreams of one day becoming a supercar driver herself.
Watching the drawing come to life on our car is super cool - it’s just like if she drew it herself on the Pizza Hut Camaro. She’s obviously a dedicated and passionate Supercars fan, along with her mum Leah who’s a volunteer at the Adelaide 500, and it’s awesome being able to have Grace’s drawing on the car. She should be so proud of what she’s achieved,” Pizza Hut Racing’s Supercars driver, Macauley Jones said.
Currently one year into a three-year partnership agreement, the collaboration between Pizza Hut Racing and BJR comes as a natural fit between two icons with a rich history in their respective industries, with Brad Jones Racing having entered the championship in 2000 and Pizza Hut Australia first opening its doors in 1970.
