KFC to hold 3rd KFC Rally 4 Youth in Shepparton
The event aims to raise funds to support mental health and well-being amongst the youth.
KFC will be holding the third KFC Rally 4 Youth event in Shepparton this 26 to 28 October.
With around three-quarters of common mental health problems emerging before the age of 25, Aussie youth are under more pressure than ever.
To help with this, the Rally 4 Youth event raises funds for the KFC Youth Foundation, which supports youth mental health and wellbeing via its charity partners ReachOut Australia, Black Dog Institute and Whitelion.
Now in its third year, the 2023 Rally 4 Youth will see 40 cars participate in the rally, with models ranging from pre-1980s classics to modern-day sports cars. With over $400k raised at the last event, the three-day rally is a major fundraising driver for the KFC Youth Foundation, which is aiming to raise $10m this year, having raised over $9.1m since its inception.
The 2023 Rally 4 Youth will collect money via rally participation, business sponsorships and a gala auction. Beginning on Thursday, 26 October in Shepparton and venturing throughout the Victorian countryside, the three-day event concludes on Saturday, 28 October with a Gala Evening and Auction at Woolshed Shepparton.
The rally departs Shepparton on 26 October and will tour through the Strathbogie Ranges, the Yarra Valley wine region, Healesville and Flowerdale over three days. The route includes stopovers at renowned local businesses Balgownie Estate, Chateau Yering and Fowles Winery, culminating in a sensational gala evening and auction at the Woolshed in Shepparton on 28 October.
Founded in 2018, the KFC Youth Foundation is dedicated to helping young Aussies thrive. With funds split evenly between its charity partners, all three partners are leading drivers of important research and awareness for youth wellbeing, providing essential support for young Aussies in tough situations through programs and mentorship.
