Grab, EnterpriseSG strike three-year F&B support deal
Over 12,000 F&B firms will receive data and industry insights to guide growth decisions.
Grab and Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) have entered a three-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at supporting Singapore’s food and beverage (F&B) sector, as operators face higher costs and labour constraints.
Under the agreement, over 12,000 F&B businesses will be given access to data and industry insights intended to inform business and expansion decisions.
About 400 companies a year are expected to participate in training sessions, whilst participating merchants will also receive greater exposure through Grab’s Dine Out platform.
The partnership includes targeted dining campaigns in selected neighbourhoods, using Grab’s Dine Out feature to direct customers to participating outlets and stimulate demand.
These campaigns will combine consumer promotions and marketing efforts on Grab’s app.
The initial areas covered are Jalan Besar, Holland Village, and Tanjong Pagar, with more locations to be added later.
As part of the MOU, businesses will receive free industry reports covering areas such as consumer trends and digital marketing.
The reports draw on Grab’s platform data and are intended to help operators track shifts in demand and customer preferences.
To support implementation, GrabAcademy will run workshops and masterclasses focused on business planning and operational efficiency.
The sessions will include discussions with industry practitioners and input from both Grab and EnterpriseSG.
Each workshop will be capped at about 50 companies to facilitate more interactive participation.
