
Wasabi opens new Central London restaurant
The restaurant opens on 27 March.
Sushi and bento restaurant Wasabi will open a new restaurant in Central London near the iconic Monument station, marking the brand’s fresh expansion.
The restaurant, located at King William Street, is 1,6000 sq ft and has space for 37 covers. The restaurant features updated design elements, including new banquette seating, internal signage, and a warmer colour palette.
Henry Birts, CEO of Wasabi, said this is the first opening in London for some time.
“This landmark opening with an update,d vibrant design signals the start of an exciting 2025 for Wasabi on our journey to bringing made fresh daily sushi and bento dishes full of bold Asian flavours to more and more consumers,” Birts said.
To celebrate the launch, on opening day, the first 100 customers at the King William Street location will receive a free goodie bag packed with Wasabi treats to celebrate the launch. Wasabi will also offer an exclusive opening promotion. From the opening to 10 April 10, Wasabi Rewards Members visiting the new King William Street location can enjoy a free side or drink with their order. The available free side options include hot or cold gyoza or edamame, while the free drink options include the Wasabi Aloe range, with flavors such as watermelon, yuzu, mango, pomegranate, or original.
Wasabi has 40 restaurants trading.
