McDonald’s Korea brings back fries after supply chain issues

Sales were halted on 20 June before resuming last Wednesday.

McDonald’s Korea resumed the sale of its fries on Wednesday after suspending sales last week due to supply chain issues.

“Thank you for your patience and understanding. Resume sales of French Fries for Extra Value Meal,” the fast food giant said on its website.

In a report by Yonhap, McDonald’s halted the sale of its fries on 20 June because of ‘concerns about substandard frozen potatoes.’

McDonald’s Korea previously suspended sales of fries in 2021 and 2022 citing global logistic disruptions.
