McDonald’s goes menu-free across Saudi Arabia
It aims to prove that customers know the menu well enough to order without it.
McDonald’s has pulled its menus from all restaurants in Saudi Arabia, claiming that after more than three decades in the country, customers know the offerings well enough to order without one.
“To prove that McDonald’s has been the undisputed burger choice of Saudis for over 30 years now, we decided to remove our menu whilst our competitors proudly displayed theirs,” said Fayrouz Hassounah, marketing & comms lead, McDonald’s KSA, Western & Southern Regions & Tabuk.
“Menuless wasn’t just a campaign—it was a statement,” Nadim Ghrayeb, business lead on McDonald’s, added. “At McDonald’s, our products have transcended marketing to become part of culture.”
