Luckin Coffee secures $500m trade deal for Brazilian coffee beans
The coffee giant recently signed an MoU with ApexBrasil.
Luckin Coffee signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
The deal, worth approximately $500m, involves the purchase of 120,000 tons of coffee from Brazil over the next two years.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Republic, Geraldo Alckmin, the Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Fávaro, and the Minister of Planning, Simone Tebet, demonstrating the Brazilian government's commitment to strengthening economic relations with China.
The meeting took place in the context of the Brazil-China Economic Seminar in Beijing.
