The Habit Burger Grill to open fifth restaurant in Cambodia

The chain opened its first location in Cambodia in October 2020.

The Habit Burger Grill is set to open its fifth restaurant in Cambodia on February 7, the American chain announced.

The Southern California-based restaurant chain said its newest international location will be in Chamkarmon in Phnom Penh.

This fifth location is the brand’s first opening in Cambodia for 2022, with several more new locations already planned for the rest of the year.

“It is an honor to open our fifth Habit restaurant location in Cambodia in partnership with Kampuchea Tela Company, LTD. We look forward to serving the Phnom Penh community handcrafted, chargrilled food with California-fresh flavor, delivered with best-in-class hospitality,” wona Alter, chief brand officer at The Habit Burger Grill, said in a statement.

Yang Ming Ong, the company’s general manager for Asia Pacific, told QSR Media in an exclusive interview that the brand intends to establish 10,000 outlets globally, a third of which will be in APAC. Targeted markets will start expansion in 2023.
