Starbucks Korea unveils Seoul-exclusive beverages
The drinks are available in the Tall size.
Starbucks Korea has introduced Seoul-specific drinks at 100 locations in the city with high tourist traffic, including Myeongdong, Gwanghwamun, and Gangnam.
The first beverage, Seoul Sunset Omija Fizzio, is inspired by the sunset over a palace pond.
It features red omija berries layered over blue limeade. Stirring the drink mixes the limeade and omija flavours, turning the beverage purple, reminiscent of the evening sky.
The second drink, Seoul Makgeolli-flavoured Cold Brew, is a non-alcoholic coffee combining the aroma of makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine, with cold brew coffee.
It is based on a previously offered speciality called Makgeolli-flavoured Cream Cold Brew.
Both drinks are available in the Tall size and will be sold at all Seoul Starbucks stores by the end of April.
Store details are listed on Starbucks’ website and app.
Starbucks has also offered region-specific items in Jeju, incorporating local ingredients and scenery.
According to the Korea Tourism Organisation, foreign visitors to Korea reached a record 18.7 million in 2025, with data from the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute indicating that around 80% stayed in Seoul.
