Pizza Hut launches Schnitzza range

It has four flavours.

Pizza Hut announced the launch of its new Schnitzza range, using chicken schnitzel as the base instead of typical pizza dough.

The range has four flavours — Margherita Schnitzza, Hawaiian Schnitzza, Creamy Ham & Mushroom Schnitzza and the BBQ Beef & Ham Schnitzza.

“The hotly contested debate of what schnitzel with sauce and cheese is called – be it a parmi, parmy or parma – has been put to bed at Pizza Hut,” Pizza Hut Australia’s national marketing manager Tamsin Lysons said in a media release.

“It’s a Schnitzza. The fusion of crispy chicken schnitzel combined with delicious pizza toppings has created this year’s hottest food hybrid.”

The new item is available for $18 delivered or $15 if picked up. Customers can also try a Schnitzza for $10 using a discount code until December 15.

To discover the discount code, Pizza Hut will be hosting a virtual live treasure hunt using the Street View and 360° tools of Google and Google Maps.
