Motto Motto to launch Japanese-inspired fish and chips

The dish is available for a strictly limited time over the holiday season.

Motto Motto is launching its take on fish and chips on April 12 across all restaurants.

Designed by executive chef Ryuji Tomihara, the limited-edition dish features traditional fish katsu made from sustainably-raised cod served with deep fried pork gyoza, seaweed salted fries, house-made Japanese tartar sauce and a fresh lemon wedge — priced at $17.90.

“We’re super excited to bring Aussies a twist on a classic - combining the complex and delicate flavours of Japanese cuisine to an Aussie staple. More quality, more care, more affordable to get more at Motto,” chief operating officer Matt Fickling said.
