Dodo Pizza kicks off football campaign across 13 markets

The campaign features a collectable album inspired by classic football sticker collections.

Dodo Pizza will launch a football-themed international marketing campaign across more than 100 restaurants in 13 countries from 11 June to 19 July.

The initiative is aimed at helping local teams and franchise partners connect with football fans during the summer season.

Customers in Spain, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, and Kyrgyzstan will be able to collect character stickers and complete a football-themed album.

Restaurants in the UAE, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Mongolia, and Indonesia will also take part through locally tailored promotions.

The campaign centres on a collectable album based on traditional football sticker collections.

It features 10 original Dodo Pizza characters: Crust Crasher, Cheese Grabber, Alfreda Saucina, Dr. Pesto-Cutter, Donni Pizzoni, Cola de Bola, Dough Renzo, Tomatini Bombardini, Pipperino, and Meatballessa.

Customers will receive an album with qualifying orders during the campaign period. Each order will also include a character sticker that can be added to the collection.

Those who complete the album will receive rewards determined by each local market.

Early collectors may also receive additional prizes, including football tickets, limited-edition merchandise, free pizza, or gifts from franchise partners and participating brands, depending on the country.

Local teams will also introduce additional football-related activities.

In Nigeria and Uzbekistan, Dodo Pizza will use limited-edition pizza boxes featuring illustrated football players in colours inspired by the countries’ national teams.

Some markets will offer match-day promotions, including discounts of up to 20%, as well as football-themed meal bundles developed around local preferences and customer demand.
