Chinese premium tea chain Auntea Jenny to expand to coffee
The chain reported a profit of $72.5m for the fiscal year ended 2025.
Auntea Jenny plans to accelerate the launch of coffee drinks and drive innovation in coffee and tea beverages to meet diversified consumer demand, after reporting a profit attributable to owners of the parent company of $72.5m (RMB 501.3m) for the year ended 31 December 2025.
The Hong Kong-listed premium tea chain reported a 36% year-on-year increase in revenue to $645.99m (RMB4.46b) for the year. Gross profit went up to $203.13m, an increase of 36.7% YoY. The group attributed the positive revenue to product sales to franchisees, overall network store count, and higher average sales per store.
Auntea Jenny plans to expand its store network in a staged manner, improve single-store profitability, and strengthen franchisee support to shorten investment payback periods. It will enhance supply chain efficiency by broadening supplier partnerships beyond China, optimising warehousing and distribution, and expanding cold-chain logistics coverage.
The company also aims to deepen its multi-brand strategy, boost market penetration with differentiated products and flexible pricing, and increase brand competitiveness through targeted promotions. Investments in digitalisation will support operations, manpower allocation, decision-making efficiency, and food safety control across the full business process.
The group ended the year with 11,449 stores.
