Krispy Kreme, McDonald’s USA end partnership

It will be effective on 2 July.

Krispy Kreme, Inc. and McDonald’s USA announced that the companies have jointly decided to end their partnership, effective 2 July 2025.

The move comes as Krispy Kreme shifts its focus to expanding its US retail presence and growing its international franchise operations.

Launched last year, McDonald's partnered with Krispy Kreme to have fresh doughnuts delivered to different locations, similar to grocery, convenience stores, and other retail outlets.

The long-term goal was to make Krispy Kreme doughnuts available in over 12,000 McDonald's restaurant in 2026.

According to McDonald's, the Krispy Kreme doughnuts represented a small, non-material part of its business.
