Guzman y Gomez part of legal action in the US
The Sydney-listed chain recently announced that it will exit the US market.
Guzman y Gomez has been sued by a group of US employees over allegedly not giving prior notice to staff on the closure of all its Chicago restaurants, according to Reuters.
The report comes following the group's announcement that it is exiting the US market.
"GYG is aware of legal action filed in the United States and we are confident we have met all of our legal obligations to our US employees. We are not in a position to provide further comment on this matter," a Guzman y Gomez spokesperson told QSR Media.
