Domino's Pizza China reaches 1,550 outlets after H1 expansion
The company added 235 net new stores and entered 15 cities.
Domino's Pizza China (DPC Dash) said it had 1,550 stores in 75 cities as of 30 June 2026, including 532 stores in Tier 1 cities and 1,018 in non-Tier 1 cities.
The company added 235 net new stores and expanded into 15 cities during the first half of the year.
It said stores already opened, under construction, or signed accounted for about 89% of its 2026 store opening target, up from 65% at the end of the first quarter.
During the second quarter (Q2), the company also announced a partnership with SCPG Group, a shopping mall operator with more than 220 projects across 55 cities, to support expansion in existing markets and new cities.
Based on store numbers, Mainland China is now Domino's second-largest international market.
The company also said its China business ranks in the top 70 spots in Domino's global ranking for first-30-day sales performance amongst new stores, out of the chain's more than 22,300 locations worldwide.
The group's same-store sales growth remained negative in Q2, although the company said same-store sales turned slightly positive in May and June following a series of sales initiatives.
The company expanded its menu during the quarter with several new products, including the Crispy Croissant Crust, American-inspired Pulled BBQ Pork Pizza, football-themed Mexican-inspired Salsa Roast Chicken and Beef Rectangular Pizza, the "Energy Bowl" range, and new beverages.
In May, DPC Dash appointed Joanne Xie as chief marketing officer.
She is responsible for brand strategy, digital and omnichannel marketing, and category innovation.
Xie previously served as vice president of marketing at McDonald's China and has also held marketing roles at Coca-Cola and Mondelēz.
