Starbucks boosts iced drinks with new Protein Cold Foam across APAC
The rollout includes Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and New Zealand.
Starbucks is adding a new topping called Protein Cold Foam to its iced drinks, rolling it out across four Asia Pacific markets starting 11 June, with availability varying by country.
The rollout includes Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and New Zealand, in addition to Australia and India.
The product is a variation of Starbucks’ existing cold foam: a whipped, chilled layer placed on top of iced beverages.
The update adds protein whilst keeping the same light, creamy texture.
It will be offered in different flavours and can be paired with drinks such as iced Americanos, lattes, and matcha beverages.
Amongst the variants being introduced are Iced Chocolate Cream Protein Americano, Iced Vanilla Cream Protein Pure Matcha, and Iced Caramel Cream Protein Latte.
