Domino’s food waste drive delivers 500,000 meals to communities in need
A total of 38.6 tonnes of surplus food was donated in 2025.
Domino’s Pizza has redistributed the equivalent of 500,000 meals to charities across the UK through its partnership with Felix, which began in 2017.
In 2025, the company provided 38.6 tonnes of surplus food to local charities and community organisations.
The donations included items such as cheese, meats, and dips collected from three Domino’s Supply Chain Centres in England and Scotland.
The food is redistributed through Felix, the organisation formed from the merger of food redistribution charities FareShare and The Felix Project.
Felix works with food industry partners to collect surplus stock and supply it to charities and community groups across the UK.
Some of the donated food from Domino’s is also used to make products such as Nduja and Jalapeno Soup.
During 2025, Domino’s surplus food donations supported almost 2,000 charities through Felix.
The company said the initiative also contributed to reducing waste-related emissions, with its donations saving 77 tonnes of CO₂ and 103 million litres of water.
Food waste represents a small proportion of Domino’s overall emissions, but the company said reducing waste forms part of its wider plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions and reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
