Wingstop’s system-wide sales up 5.9% YoY to $1.4b in Q1
Revenue for the quarter rose 7.4% to $183.7m.
Wingstop reported $1.4b in system-wide sales for Q1 2026, up 5.9% from a year earlier.
The US restaurant performance was weaker on a like-for-like basis, with same-store sales down 8.7%, even as average unit volumes domestically reached $2m.
Digital channels accounted for 72.5% of total system sales.
Revenue for the quarter rose 7.4% to $183.7m.
Net income came in at $29.9m, or $1.08 per diluted share.
On an adjusted basis, net income was $32.5m, or $1.18 per diluted share.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 9.9% year-on-year to $65.4m.
As of 28 March 2026, the company operated 3,153 restaurants globally.
That included 2,653 in the US (2,596 franchised and 57 company-owned) and 500 franchised locations internationally and in US territories.
The system added a net 97 restaurants during the quarter.
Separately, on 28 April 2026, the board approved a quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share, totalling about $8.2m.
The payout is scheduled for 5 June 2026 to shareholders of record as of 15 May 2026.
