Alshaya’s Starbucks Kuwait boosts football ties with KFA referee deal

Starbucks will also support the KFA Referee Academy.

Starbucks Kuwait, operated by Alshaya Group, will sponsor all 125 football referees participating in the 2025/2026 season of the Kuwait Football Association (KFA).

This will feature the Starbucks logo on referees’ jerseys throughout 882 matches.

As part of this collaboration, Starbucks will also support the KFA Referee Academy, an initiative launched to train and develop new referees in Kuwait.

The move follows other Alshaya community initiatives, including its AURA loyalty program’s support of the Under-20 Football League.
