CHAGEE Singapore opens new Signing outlet
It aims to provide a more inclusive working environment for both deaf and hearing individuals.
CHAGEE has opened its first Signing Store in Southeast Asia at the National University of Singapore’s Yusof Ishak House.
The outlet is designed to be accessible to both deaf and hearing individuals, using features such as visual ordering systems, sound-absorbing interiors, an open kitchen, and interactive boards that teach basic sign language.
The initiative aims to provide a more inclusive working environment for deaf staff, who take on roles not just behind the counter but also as team members and leaders.
To mark the launch, CHAGEE is selling two merchandise bundles. Each purchase includes drinks and branded items, with $2 from every bundle going to the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf).
