Flash Coffee secures $3m funding to accelerate Indonesian expansion

The brand plans to expand its footprint to over 70 locations nationwide and enter two new cities.

Flash Coffee has secured an additional $3m in funding to support its nationwide expansion in Indonesia, following major business challenges leading to closures in Singapore and Taiwan, and the selling of its Thai business to Turn Capital.

The round was led by TA Ventures and supported by White Star Capital.

The funds will fuel Flash Coffee's growth, supporting its goal of surpassing 70 stores across Indonesia in 2025 and launching in two new cities.

Flash Coffee's new store design features natural textures, regional materials, and lush greenery, with a refreshed logo and a new 'Kebanggaan Indonesia' ('Proudly Indonesian') watermark.

First launched in Singapore in 2020, Flash Coffee is a tech-enabled coffee chain that serves grab-and-go coffee, targeting office workers and consumers on the go.
