Jamba makes India debut

The brand will be targeting Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad for its expansion.

Juice bar chain Jamba is opening in India, marking its first entry into the market.

The chain known for its Whirl'd smoothies will open its first outlet in Bandra West, Mumbai sometime in November.

Jamba’s menu features a wide selection such as smoothies, juices, and bowls.  In addition, Jamba has added a range of iced and hot coffees, and wholesome versions of local dishes and snacks designed to cater to the Indian palette. With both in-store dining and delivery options, you can enjoy your favourite Jamba creations wherever you are.

The brand plans to target major metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad for its expansion in the country.

I see a lot of potential for Jamba’s growth in India as we don’t have an authentic smoothie brand. We plan to open at least 10 locations by the end of next year,” said Haritha Ghattamaneni, Director at Vihaga Ventures, the franchise partner for Jamba in India.

As of June 30, 2024, Jamba had more than 850 locations operating in 35 U.S. states, as well as South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Guatemala and Saudi Arabia.
