SIDES launches new spice level ‘Nuke’

The new dish was launched in collaboration with professional darts player Luke Littler.

Fried chicken brand SIDES has partnered with professional darts player Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler to launch its hottest fried chicken seasoning named after him.

The 'Nuke' seasoning, developed alongside SIDES head chef, Gordon McDermott, joins the brand's existing spice options – mild, medium, hot, and insane.

“Luke’s got a talent for more than just darts; his flavour instincts are spot-on, and he’s played a big role in developing this fiery yet flavoursome new addition to our menu. At SIDES, we pride ourselves on crafting high-quality fried chicken that keeps customers coming back for more, and this new seasoning is no exception. Just make sure you’re ready for some serious heat!”SIDES head chef, Gordon McDermott,  said.

As part of the collaboration, Littler has also helped create the Nashville Chicken Mac n’ Cheese Box. This latest addition builds on the brand’s Nashville Summer Menu, which accounted for 35% of SIDES’ summer sales. The Nashville-style chicken is known for its heat, balanced with sweetness. However, the Nashville menu in SIDES sits alongside the Classic range, which is just as serious about flavour, but without any Nashville spice.

Littler’s involvement has been heavily promoted, with his appearance in the latest episode of SIDES' Keys to the Kitchen, a new YouTube series which has already amassed over 4.5 million views on social media.

The new 'Nuke' seasoning is available until 8 December.

SIDES launched in 2021. It currently has six restaurants.
