Papa Johns appoints former Wendy’s president as new global CEO

Todd Penegor holds over 24 years of experience in leadership roles. 

Papa John’s International, Inc.’s board of directors has appointed Todd Penegor as president and CEO, effective immediately. 

Todd Penegor holds over 24 years of experience in leadership roles, starting with Kellogg Europe.

Prior to the appointment, Penegor served as president and CEO of The Wendy’s Company from 2016 to 2024.

“I am honoured to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Papa Johns and work with the Board, our dedicated team members and franchisees to usher in the Company’s next chapter,” said Penegor.
