Subway expands Qatar presence with new master franchise deal

This aims to drive Subway’s growth and development in Qatar over the next seven years.

Subway has signed a new master franchise deal with Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff, under Al Mana International Holding, which oversees the existing Subway multi-unit franchisee in Qatar.

The agreement gives Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff exclusive rights to manage and develop all Subway locations in the country.

Subway has been pushing rapid growth in the Middle East over the past four years, securing six master franchise agreements and over 800 new restaurant commitments.

Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff has been responsible for Subway’s development in Qatar since 2010 under an earlier arrangement.
