Here’s where Long John Silver is landing in Indonesia

The American seafood chain initially planned to open 54 stores in the country.

American seafood fast-food chain Long John Silver has opened its flagship store in Gading Serpong, Indonesia with PT Cipta Putra Nusantara, the franchise owner of the brand in the country.

The store features a 3D statue of Long John Silver’s mascot, Captain Flint, and localised design elements. The restaurant has two levels, featuring a free-standing drive-thru and 170 seats.

The restaurant will serve its iconic seafood menu, including fried and grilled seafood dishes from fish and chimps, shrimp platter, and calamari. Most meals are in combo packages that cost around  Rp76k ($5.08) to Rp40k ($2.67).

In 2021, Long John Silver first announced its expansion to Indonesia, planning to build 54 restaurants there.
