The first location is set to open in Liffey Valley in Dublin.

German Doner Kebab (GDK) plans to open its first restaurant in Ireland this year under a franchise deal with Strava Group.

The first location is set for Liffey Valley in Dublin, with around 25 jobs expected to be created.

The company aims to open 30 outlets across Ireland over the next ten years.

The expansion coincides with GDK reaching 150 UK locations, with its latest restaurant due to open in Leeds later this month.
