Chipotle enters Qatar amidst Middle East expansion

More locations are expected to open in Kuwait and the UAE by year-end.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, in partnership with Alshaya Group, has opened its first location in Qatar.

The move follows the chain’s Middle East debut last year, when it opened a restaurant at The Avenues mall in Kuwait.

This marked the company's first entry into a new country in over a decade.

Since then, Alshaya has launched seven Chipotle outlets across the region: three in Kuwait, three in the UAE, and now one in Qatar.

More locations are expected in Kuwait and the UAE by the end of the year.
