Bunsik accelerates franchise growth with two new UK launches

Bunsik is set to expand its UK footprint with two new openings in May, bringing the total UK sites to 12.
The first opened on 15 May at 490 Brixton Road, SW9 8EQ, marking both the brand’s first South London outlet and its first franchised London site.
The location is operated by franchise partner CMB Hospitality, led by Vicente Marti, and forms part of the brand’s wider shift toward franchise-led growth in the capital.
A second site follows on 20 May at The Orient food court in Trafford Centre, one of the country’s major retail and leisure hubs.
For recruitment at the Manchester site, Bunsik worked with youth employment charity Street League, running a hiring drive that led to over 30 interviews and 13 hires, with staff training underway.
The Trafford Centre opening is currently expected to be the last Bunsik location operated by Maguro Group, with future UK growth increasingly focused on franchising.
Both launches will follow the brand’s standard rollout approach, including phased promotions and a free corndog giveaway during opening week.
Further franchise openings are planned across the UK through 2026.
