7-Eleven opens store in Wodonga

More stores are expected on the border.

7-Eleven Australia has officially opened its newest store in Wodonga, the first of three stores expected to be established on the border.

The opening is in line with the 700-strong chain’s planned investment in increasing its presence in regional areas.

“Being able to offer a brand-new store to our local customers is exciting. The range we are going to offer is something new for the border, and we’re aiming to provide brilliant service to the community. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the new store,” said Nikki Stopps, the outlet’s store manager.

“Our supply chain means that our fresh food including sandwiches, sushi, salads and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts can be delivered every day of the week. While I’m sure the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be a popular treat, the sandwich range and sushi are pretty delicious for people looking for tasty fresh food on the go,” added Alex Foley, the chain’s regional lead for VIC.

In an earlier interview, 7-Eleven Australia CEO Angus McKay told QSR Media the chain will continue to explore various store formats, anticipating the nature of convenience to rapidly change within the next decade.
