Starbucks expands Ramadan support to families across Kuwait
It aims to distribute over 1,250 food boxes and 500 iftar meals across the region.
Starbucks, run by the Alshaya Group in Kuwait, is supporting local communities during Ramadan through food distributions and community activities.
In partnership with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, the initiative will deliver food boxes to nearly 500 registered families, alongside date-and-water iftar distributions organised by Starbucks.
Separately, Starbucks is working with the Ministry of Social Affairs to provide 300 iftar meals for children of various age groups.
This programme is part of a broader regional effort during Ramadan that also covers the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, in collaboration with organisations such as Emirates Red Crescent, the Saudi Food Bank, and Isnad.
Overall, the initiative aims to distribute more than 1,250 food boxes and 500 iftar meals across the region.
