Pizza Hut Hong Kong introduces spider-shaped cheese sticks for Halloween

The brand is also launching an interactive game to win free garlic bread.

Pizza Hut Hong Kong is launching a spider-shaped cheese stick snack for Halloween.

The new menu item is part of the brand's latest campaign, in partnership with iProspect Hong Kong.

The naming of the cheese sticks is pun intended; called "藍芝蛛點點棒," the term "藍芝" refers to the blue cheese sauce dip, while "芝蛛" shares the same pronunciation as "spider" in Cantonese.

The brand will also hold a “spider-catching” game on Pizza Hut social, where participants can play to win garlic bread for free.

Pizza Hut is also hosting an interactive game where it encourages customers to search for hidden spooky faces nestled within the pizza crust and melted cheeses.

The campaign is live on social media, and the OOH advertisements are located in high-traffic areas of Central from 26 October to 1 November, to draw attention and invite passersby to join in the Halloween festivities.
