Menulog exits Australia after 20 years

Menulog will stop taking orders midnight of 26 November 2025.

Online food delivery company Menulog will shut down its Australian operations at the end of November after its parent company, Just Eat Takeaway.com, decided to end its involvement with the service platform.

“Whilst Menulog has a proud 20-year history, it has been navigating challenging circumstances,” Just Eat said in a press release.

Around 120 staff will lose their jobs, with the company saying they will receive redundancy payments above the legal minimum and assistance in finding new work.

Menulog will stop taking orders midnight on 26 November 2025.

The closure follows the company’s withdrawal from New Zealand in May last year.
