Potato Corner debuts in Taiwan with Xinyi District opening
Taiwan marks the chain’s 16th overseas market.
Potato Corner (PC) has opened its first shop in Taiwan, setting up in Taipei’s Xinyi District inside the Uni-President Department Store.
The flavoured fries chain, owned by Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) of the Philippines, has scaled its presence in key international markets and now has 2,345 global stores. Taiwan is its 16th overseas market.
The launch comes through a partnership with Taiwan’s Fujin Tree Group, a hospitality and lifestyle operator that manages 15 brands, including a Michelin-starred restaurant.
"We are honoured to introduce Potato Corner, a beloved global brand, to Taiwan, and we look forward to adding more stores by the end of the year,” said Jay Wu, founder of Fujin Tree Group.
